As part of our service commitment, with the controlling condition called out, card processing is performed through encrypted Shopify and approved provider systems, so nuby does not store full card numbers or security codes. The financial institution controls authorization holds, additional checks, approval, and decline decisions.

To explain the outcome directly, with the applicable exception kept narrow, accurate billing and contact details are required. An order may be reviewed or cancelled if payment authorization fails or fraud controls identify material risk, and taxes are collected as applicable law directs.

For clarity, with the decision path easy to follow, refunds that receive approval go back to the original form of payment; the financial institution generally completes posting in 5-10 business days.
